After the issue that ended at 3:25 PM MT, Canvas operated normally for 95% of Canvas users. Another issue later in the day affected about 5% of Canvas users for an extended period of time. We will provide a detailed incident report to admins at affected schools tomorrow (Monday, 8/26) by email.

We're continuing to work to get Canvas back to normal performance. Just a quick update for you: the issue we're working on is affecting many sites that make use of Amazon Web Services, not just Canvas. We'll keep you posted.
