Users experiencing slowness and timeouts in Canvas

A small percentage of Canvas users may have experienced slowness or timeout errors while attempting to access Canvas. Our engineers concluded that this came from a database failure while performing maintenance. The issue has since been resolved; users would have only experienced this behavior between 6:04 and 6:20 pm MT. All systems are currently operational.
