We have an update for you on the problems some institutions are reporting currently. Internet2 has acknowledged that networking between Internet2 and AWS is in a degraded state. They are currently working with AWS on a resolution.
While this isn't a problem with Canvas, it's affecting many Canvas institutions that get connectivity through Internet2. We'll keep you posted.

We've heard from many institutions this morning about problems accessing Canvas. Many of these institutions are located in similar geographies. We are investigating the issue, but things look fine server-side. We've heard from several institutions that the issue appears to be a broader internet problem, affecting many sites besides Canvas.
You can help us dig in further by running traceroutes to your Canvas instance and to two other sites: www.netflix.com and instagram.com. If you're able to get this information, please send it to seth@instructure.com. I'll feed it to our Operations team.
